Moving out during rennovations....

In the near future I will be doing some major renovations on a house we recently purchased and my builder thinks we will need to move out for approx 3 months. I have 2 daughters (15 and 10) and was going to get a log cabin/garden building done for them anyway as a bit of a den for when they have sleepovers and their friends round (also for me to escape from the wife :D). I have seen a log cabin which is roughly 26 ft across and 14ft deep, I am wondering whether we can kill two birds with one stone and get something a little more homely i.e insulated, plastered walls, kitchenette, toilet etc. Does anyone have something similar or the structure of a log cabin would not be suitable for this.

Thanks
