Cheap Lurpack Butter

Options
I was in Asda in Poole yesterday, and, as usual, a 500g pack of Lurpack Butter was £3.25, or on special offer of two for £5.

However, immediately above these were 1Kg packs of the same thing for £3 each! I bought two.

So take your choice - £3.25 for 500g or £3 for 1Kg.

Talk about crazy pricing! But get it whilst you can.:)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I always wait until Sainsburys (my supermarket of choice because it's just up the road!) has Lurpak on special offer for two for £5. This offer comes around frequently enough to keep me going.

I dare not buy butter, I would pig out on it so it's best if I don't have any in the house. :D

Look for the packs labelled 'Lurpack' - they're the cheap knock-offs with the spelling mistakes ;).

Aldi Norpak spreadable is just as good as Lurpak. My boys will only eat Lurpak so I pop some Norpak into a posh butter dish when they come and they cannot tell the difference :D

Well that's a good offer, but...why is this on the over 50's money saving board? Us young folk enjoy expensive branded butter too you know! :D

    Lurpak is the best.

When you get to my age butter is butter, I can't even tell the difference between salted and unsalted when it is spread on bread, especially covered in jam.

    I just buy the cheapest.

I only buy goat's butter these days, it tastes so much richer than all the standard cow's butters on sale. It's the same with milk.
