in Credit cards
I would be grateful of any advice please....
I would like to do a balance transfer as my interest free credit card is coming to an end, but I am wondering whether it is worth it - due to the fact that I no longer have an income (my partner works and we can still afford the payments)!! My feeling is that they will only be interested in my income and won't take into account my partners income, so therefore I'll be refused?
Is there any way of changing the credit card into my partners name?
Cheers

Some credit card application forms ask about household income rather than personal income.
For balance transfers, the name on the card doesn't seem to matter. Many providers don't even ask for it if you do it online.0 -
I have just applied for a virgin card and they asked for both my income and household income, maybe they are worth a try.
Or (although you may not want to do this), get your partner to apply for a card based on her income and transfer the balance to that one and you just continue to pay it off.0
