Terrible customer service- asos HELP

Hi everyone,


I am a newbie here so I do apologise if I have posted in the incorrect section, I am at my wits end!


I returned my order to asos on the 19/06/2014 and have still not received my refund of my giftcard! The goods were returned through the collect plus depot where I received my receipt of proof (which I still have).


This return consisted of 3 orders which total to over £60.


I have never been lucky with asos returns and always seem to have to wait a couple of weeks for my refund but 8 weeks is beyond a joke.


I have emailed them and mailed them on facebook and have had very confusing advice. Three weeks ago I was informed my refund would be sent within 48 hours (which it wasn't).


I have been asked to send "proof" that I had not already received a refund by means of paypal, which I could not understand as it was paid by my giftcard!!


I have asked Asos to forward my email to customer complaints to which i received an email stating they were "mega sorry to hear you're still waiting on your return" and that it had been passed to the customer experience team. This was sent on the 16th August.


Yesterday I received an email (first I have had since the 16th) to say that i received a refund in May!!! I honestly feel that they aren't even reading my complaint!!!!


I have missed out on sale dresses since then and wanted to purchase a dress for my anniversary this weekend which I have had to do so in another shop. I have had lots of problems with Asos and now wish i had never received the voucher in the first place!!! It is more hassle than it is worth!!


Please help! What else can I do?

    Find ASOS Here to help on twitter and message them (you need to ask them to follow you) also post and message them on facebook. They tend to get things sorted but they have a 'copy paste' response which always gets sent out first it seems.

    I have already replied to Facebook and emailed them, still no response :(

    The refund may have went back to the purchase source, that may very well be who bought the voucher in the first place, back to their paypal account.

    Was the voucher a gift, if so speak to the person who gave you the gift.
