I'm going through the same problem with my mother too, she call after recieving a text message from this company and took the offer. She has now found out they will not take the phone back as she made a call from the phone, even though I have offered to pay for that call they refuse point blank, yes, even to the point of being nasty... I have now lodge a formal complaint with the trading standards consumer direct. Since being refuse on several occasions, i was inform now 3 calls have been made, I'm still waiting for details of those calls and transcripts of the calls made by worldnetworks.
I feel like its a losing battle, but would advise all who recieve these texts... JUST DELETE THEM FAST, or better still, pass them on to trading standards.
  • Ok Folks...WorldNetworld Ltd have gone bust...Surprise, surprise!

Muggins here was conned by "that text" into a 12month contract with 3 (I was with Orange when I got the text to inform me that, as a loyal customer, I could upgrade!!)...£25/month to 3..with WorldNetworks promising to send 50% cashback every 4months on reciept of my bills plus a shiny new CameraPhone.... Sounded good...TOO good!!

Well...here we are...1 year later...and I've not had a penny back, nor will I, according to their liquidators (they're BROKE!).

So...Beware the cashback scam !...(well. at least 3 have done well out of this....Wonder how much they had to pay WN for my business?...Hmmm)

On the same note I just received a text saying that I have £5 to spend on any Orange product or service for my loyalty - yet I have an unlimited contract anyway? The address on the text to click was orange.co.uk/free5credit - which surprise, surprise does not exist. Has anyone else received this?
    2012 wins...McCain Film Rental...Smooth Radio Gig Tickets...Tropicana Orange Juice...Balance Me Skincare Set...Book...Dave Spikey Tickets...Karrimor Boots...Jabra Speakers...

Thank you to all the lovely competition/answers/codes posters :D
