Choices estate agents.

please can anyone respond...i have just joined this so im not
sure im using it right..
i trusted choices estate agents of caterham to rent out
my property...worst decision ever....
my tenants refernces were not even checked...they turned
up with 3 dogs...they never mentioned...dogs barking
camera outside house...we were never introduced to them..
we kept asking...the man who got them..has been sacked.
the neighbours r fed up...we have not had any rent yet
its nearly two weeks late...they have over charged us...
and thats just afew of the problems...we have now
got a solicitor involved as we are permantley
fobbed off by them..ive rung them so so many
times...i have emailed them so so many times
and we have been to there office but guess what
they just fob us off...they lie...they make excuses..
its actually beyond belief....they have our money
and thats all they care about...can anyone please
please help me...i have an auto immune illness
my husband has a heart condition..we are stressed
beyond belief...that was our family home now
we will have no tenants...we have lost faith
we will lose money...and most of all we are
losing our sanity and health...
i read others complaining about them..
why are they still trading...???

did you interview the tenants yourself? If i was renting out my house then i would be very thorough. What service did the estate agent provide i.e. Find a tenant or full management service? I guess you get what you pay for.0

Please don't use any letting agent unless they are members of ARLA, RICs, NALs or UKALA. These member agents have signed up to the highest level of self-regulation in an un-regulated market and have insurance and free complaints procedures, plus training and abide by letting laws.
If you can, I would find another agent locally that is a member of one of the above organisations and they should help you to get the tenancy under control. If you need to evict the tenants or start legal procedures, check the work will be done by an lettings legal expert on a fixed fee basis.0
