Hi
I want to use wood border in my hallway so i can paint top half and bottom half in contrasting colours, what i want to know is instead of using nails for the wood can i use a strong type of wood glue?

What we used to call a 'Dado Rail' back when houses were proper built !
There are lots of (almost) instant impact adhesives suitable for such an application, try Googling 'Sticks Like Sh*t' or 'No More Nails'.0 -

Go Pink it stays sticky longer. There is one called Sticks Like !!!!, yes really. Use masking tape to hold still whilst it dries is stickiung long Pieces Paint the wood first to keep it neat...0
