27th oct chessington epsom central travelodge £59
28th oct chessington itself (this is set in stone) £149

have you checked premier inn? i find these days premier inn is more often than not cheaper than travelodge - and they are better hotels generally.

premier inn dont seem to accommodate our family size. I can put a kiddy blow up bed on the floor for my little one but would they allow that?

you are 2 adults and 2 children, yes? I've just put in 2 adults and 2 kids on the premier inn website, and its bringing up family rooms. The only stipulation for kids seems to be that you can't have more than 2 in your room if you are also 2 adults, and the kids can't be aged 16 or over.

eta - we were one adult and 3 kids in a premier inn family room in April - no problem booking it, we got one double bed and 2 singles in the room.

Travelodge Windsor Central is showing up for the 30th Oct which should be suitable for Legoland.

I would also suggest looking at :
Holiday Inn Express (Free breakfasts would save you money)
Innkeepers Lodge (again free continental breakfast)
    Ibis / Ibis Budget Hotels
F1 (Not sure how many we have in the UK but I know there is one in Liverpool so maybe there are more dotted around the country)
Days Inn (usually located on service stations but cheap as chips)

Or if I were you I would consider looking at a holiday park caravan or holiday cottage in Surrey and basing yourself in one place for the full week and driving to the parks. It would be a lot less stressful and you could then also make dinner each night and make a packed lunch for in the parks.
    Lea

The distance between the various parks isn't really worth packing up and moving on night after night. I'd agree with what lea suggested or find one hotel and stick to it. If I were you I'd get a map out and try and find the most convenient central location.
