Parking Eye Fine

I have today received a parking'fine' from Parking Eye for overstaying in a supermarket car park. I shop at the same store every week and the limit is one hour. I do not have my receipt from when I shopped as it was just normal grocery shopping and no need to keep it.
Should I ignore it or do I need to appeal

    Yep Blueben123.

I would go down the appeal route, but if you paid for your shopping by card, your bank/card statement will suffice as evidence of your purchase for that day and it's always worth sending a redacted copy of it to Parkingeye as they have been known to cancel notices when they have been provided. Not always, but it's definitely worth a try.

In the mean time, still go through the requirements for an appeal and get that on its way as there is a time limit where POPLA is concerned.

Post back if you have questions etc.

Ignore it only if you like being sued. No idea why anyone would nowadays ask 'do I ignore Parking Eye' (the main, madly megalomaniac litigator in PPC World) unless they are in Scotland! What's wrong with just following the tried & tested (winning) appeal advice in the top thread begging Newbies to 'please read these FAQs first'?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
