Thanks for that.

Some people choose to exhaust the non-fee accounts before moving to Santander 1/2/3.Yes there is me an my wife.
So as a couple you can have:
6 TSB Plus (£12K)...some say you can get 8 accounts!
6 BoS Vantage (£30K)
3 Nationwide FlexDirect (£7.5K)...but only for 12 months
4 Tesco (£12K)
3 Lloyds Club (£15K)
So the thick end of £80K making a clean 3-5% AER.
Of course Santander is one account instead of 4 BoS Vantages for example, so you may choose it for that reason alone...or if you can offset the £2 a month fee with some cashback on bills.
As a couple, you should also be making an easy £180 a year in Halifax Rewards.0 -

I don't know what Halifax Rewards are..
I've just set up a Classic Plus account - it's all gone through - and says my internet banking details will be sent through in a week or so..
Once they check, will they see I am an existing customer and add the account to my current Internet Banking - or will I need to do something? Can I now go ahead and set up another account?
Thanks all! :beer:0 -
They should add it to your existing accounts, you don't need to do anything.I don't know what Halifax Rewards are..

Halifax Reward account is a current account that pays you £5 in each month
that you pay in £750, pay out two different direct debits and stay in credit.
