Great news about your cat. Remember to keep her in for a few days, just as if she was a new cat. When you let her out make sure she is hungry then offer food after a few minutes so she knows to come back.

We used to have our old cat trained to come for food at our whistle, but our new girl doesn't seem to want to...

I'm very glad you got your cat back, :D although she might wander off again, so pamper her for a few days to remind her that her bread is buttered on both sides!

Makes me glad we paid the extra for chipping, when I see it does work!

    thanks all..

yes she is definately grounded for a while.. she wont come near us at the minute so we are just leaving her to it, she has sussed out her favourite snoozing places already so hopefully it wont be too much of an ordeal for her... fingers crossed! x

thats great news - i was stoppign in to say - dont worry im sure she'll turn up. My old Tom cat harley went AWOL for abotu 3 months when we lived in Germany - then one day he jsut appeared happy as larry and looking healthy - on all days chrsitmas morning.

My parents went ot a local bike club - about a 15 minute walk from our house - adn he must have followed and gotten lost, and he must of seen them adn decided oh look theres mum and followed them back - little monster that was his first and only time leaving home (besides quarentine!) he was about 4 when that happened and he lived to the ripe old age od 11 years old before his cat leukemia got hold fo him.
    Time to find me again

    thanks sammy.. nice story x

had a bit of a night.. kept her upstairs and the other 2 down, she was a bit unsettled and still a bit hissy towards us, but did have moments of purring and chin rubs!.. made up a litter tray for her but she wasnt keen, was jumping around at 5am so took her down and smuggled the other 2 upstairs! - anyway she used the tray downstairs, she's had a bit of diarrhoea and vomiting so am taking her to the vets later to be checked over and get vaccinated (missed a booster in dec so have to start again)

just have to coax her out from under daughters bed now!

    phew!
