I've told them I'm sending an invoice for the two days they've wasted my time and I want my contract terminated.
....
I'd also be interested in anyone else's experience of this scenario. Will I be sufficiently compensated? Am I in my rights to end the contract?
Read your contract. Does it include compensation for consequential losses? Is there a service level agreement with details of compensation for non-performance?
I suspect the answer to both questions is "no", as I suspect you have purchased a consumer grade product (this includes most "business broadband") which comes with basically no guarantee or compensation beyond the monthly fee. Nor would anyone reasonably expect compensation for consequential losses on a product costing a few quid each month - no provider would offer it as it opens them up to potentially enormous liabilities.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
