Lloyds Bank plus log in problem

Has anyone had a problem setting up online banking with Lloyds.
I am a former Lloyds customer, and was transferred to TSB about a year ago.
I have just opened a Lloyds Club current account, I intend to keep my TSB accounts at least for the moment.
The site will not allow me to set up Internet banking, it says there is a technical problem, telephone banking has suggested, it may be because of my TSB accounts. Has anyone else had a problem?

Hi stowupland4,
I'm not aware of a registration problem. You may still be registered for our service though. Can you try logging on using the details you used for Internet Banking before you moved to TSB and let me know how you get on? The log on info will be the same as you use for TSB unless you've changed it since TSB came into being.

I had, about 6 months ago. Exactly the same situation (moved to TSB, returning to Lloyds for the Club a/c). Used my old (pre-TSB) Lloyds login info and it worked.
There was a further minor hassle: I got a letter from Lloyds saying that a new a/c had been opened and warning me that that meant (let's assume my name is Joe Bloggs) the new Joe Bloggs would be sharing my online banking services with me, the old Joe Bloggs, as though we had a joint a/c.
A phone call led to me being told just to ignore the letter as an IT glitch and indeed everything has been fine since - I am still a non-cloned single person!0 -
Sorry for delay in getting back on this. I have today managed to log into this account 3 very long phone calls and 3 activation codes later.
I am still not sure of the reason I couldn't log in, for some reason Lloyds was rejecting my password, all I could gather was that it was connected to being transferred to TSB. It was solved by the third person I spoke to, although it was a very long call, he was determined to get to the bottom of my problem.
I also received the same letter, re the joint person, I was told not to worry, but I still wonder what info Lloyds might have incorrectly.0 -
