    I would opt for hiring a Royal Mail post box. You have the key so no chance of anything going missing and large enough to accept large cards! They are about £30 to hire around us.

    Thank you all so much for your ideas! I did buy a white wicker basket with white lining to go on the table but since people have mentioned security issues (also my friend mentioned this last night and has got me doubting my decision) I'm starting to change my mind.

    I personally don't like those cardboard postboxes.

    Steph - I've had a look at that box, it looks fab, did you decorate it or leave it?

    I looked for postboxes to hire in my area and there wasn't many companies, nearest ones were Manchester, a mere 100+ miles away!

  • I've ordered a personalised hessian post bag from ebay, should be here by the end of the week. I'm not concerned about security at my venue as its all closed off anyway, tbh security hadn't even entered my mind!

    Yes security hadn't entered mine as all my friends I trust, same with my family. The box would be coming back to the room with us and I'm not a drinker so won't be too inebriated to take care of it x
