Amex application timing

in Credit cards
I need a 0% card and was looking at the Amex with 18 months free plus cash back. I don't need the card til the first week of October.

Does anyone know how long it will take for the card to come out? Is it all online or will I have to return signed t&cs?

When shall I apply to have the card by 5th October?

    I have never signed anything, except for online and it was quick
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    It is variable on if you get immediate approval or a referral. Nothing needs to be signed if the application is done online.

    The card is normally 7-10 days after approval and you can retrieve the pin online so dont need to wait for that.

    Remember if you get a referral from an existing AmEx card holder you normally get an increased initial benefit
