Hi there,
I'm looking to rent a property and my letting agent will need to run a referencing check which will check my credit status - what does this mean as mine is very poor however I don't have any CCJ's, IVA's or Bankruptcy. I also pay rent on my current property on time every month and am in full time work. It's just that I had a bit of a bad run of it six months ago and am now paying the debts in monthly installments.
I just need to know how much they'll see as I'm a little worried!
I'm prepared to be honest and my current landlord/letting agent should give a good reference.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You should be fine. Basically all they need is to make sure that you are in a good position to be able to pay rent. They will the the normal credit history which any other company will but when you combine it with full time employment and good reference from current landlord then I dont see any problems.Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.
Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard.
Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard.
Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard.
Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But you can choose your hard.0 -
Thanks. I'm just really worried because it is so so low!
But backed up with everything else hopefully I should be OK.0
