I placed an order on 27 July 2014 for a laptop using my ipad and paid £129.98 with my credit card. However, I did not receive a confirmation email and when I logged into my account, neither the order placed nor the voucher were recorded. I therefore contacted Mighty Deals by email quoting the relevant order number and have since had very slow responses, appalling advice which shows they do not read the emails sent to them and in one email, they advised the refund had been arranged and the voucher reissued as a gesture of goodwill but again, neither had been organised when I checked my account. I have now lost track how many hours I have spent trying to get my payment refunded - it is now 3 September!! - as I have not received any vouchers or laptop and, in any case, the item is no longer available. They promised 2 weeks ago to get the Refunds Manager to contact me but I have not heard from that person and they are not responding to my recent emails. I have therefore had to involve my credit card company and will also contact Mastercard to report this appalling situation and the company. It has been quite obvious throughout that their customer service agents are incompetent as they don't read the emails they receive and say one thing in response and then contradict that statement, eg we are refunding your payment within 7-10 days and then in another email state they have no record of the order despite my sending them a screen print of the original online order in my account! I also don't understand why they don't provide a telephone number as part of their 'contact' details rather than operating purely by email. They do not deserve customers!!0
