Annoying

You can ask any person any question you want, it is their choice if they want to reply or not.
I think that is half the problem in here a lot of folks are afraid to ask questions for fear of being slapped down, although I do think a lot of the folks do it in jest and are taken too seriously.

They don't post comps, a lot of them don't thank the poster of the comps ... they don't contribute any posts that gain themselves any "thanks".
Im sure a lot of them get comps from elsewhere and just don't bother posting them because they don't want to narrow down their own chances of winning.
Annoying ... of course there's some jealousy there 'cause I've yet to win anything, but at least I feel I've contributed in my short time here

Surely these comps arent just for members of MSE ? you do realise that there there will be people entering the comps who get the details from other places
No i dont enter the comps btwVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
Never be misled by the competition part of the word competition.
They are not really competitions at all in the competitive sense but merely ways for promotors to spread their good name and distribute largesse among the public - hopefully fairly randonmly.
Thus we should look on MSE as a modern day equivalent of the 'Hippy Communes' of the 1960's where the ethos was on sharing and having a good time!
I think I'm waxing a bit lyrical now. ( I've had a drink)0 -

There is a HUGE difference between keeping your wins 'secret' and not choosing to broadcast them to the world on the boards! I dont usually tell people on the forums about My wins...MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0 -

A lot of drama going on in the forum lately!
I don't post comps very often as the ones I find and put on here have already been done which can be annoying!
We should be pleased for each other when we win comps rather than negative. I would 100% prefer to see an MSE'r win a comp no matter how little they contribute compared to a random person!0 -

I see what you're saying but unless you know them, doesn't that make them a random person?
At the end of the day there's only one person I want to win prizes and that's meIf that doesn't happen (and it doesn't happen very often these days) then I couldn't care less who wins.
