Ideas for November Vacation

My wife is 60 in November and my family are suggesting I take her somewhere nice. 8 Years ago she surprised me for my 50th by taking me to New York so I would like to return a favour.

I have thought about a cruise to the caribbean but these are slightly expensive for two weeks but a week is not long enough.

I haven't trawled the internet but only been on the popular tour web sites to look.
I am open to offers, somewhere warm for around £900 each.

Kind regards Jeff.

  • The Canaries are always warm or even Malaga on Costa del Sol - if you don't read the Daily Mail see the article online this weekend about the city.
Most people just pass through the airport on the way to the beach resorts- apparently.

For £900 each you might also consider Vegas if that is your thing.
  • Take a look at a Transatlantic Cruise leaving Southampton 9th November - Celebrity Eclipse 14 nights visiting Boston, New York and Bermuda before arriving in Miami - Inside cabin £870 pp.

Agree will work out slightly over budget with flight home, you could disembark the ship in NY and fly home - Norwegian Airline £180 pp one way in November NY to Gatwick.

Transatlantic Cruise leaving Southampton 9th November............... weather could be dodgy.
How about a snorkelling holiday in Egypt, it will be warm in Nov still.

The weather in Egypt in November is Goldilocks time. Not too hot and not too cold - just right!

Depending on her likes/dislikes I'd do a city break in Europe, enjoying galleries and museums and sightseeing with spending money left over for shopping and good food and wine.

You know best what she'd enjoy.
