CPP parking tickets

I've recently received a parking notice although I've parked there many times before and never notices any signage, although on this day after finding the ticket I did find a sign a few cars along....I've seen many posts before saying don't pay them and that they will get bored and leave it in this case am I banged to rights and in fact better off paying £50 instead of £100 in a months time ?? If anybody could help it would be much appreciated thank you

the only problem you had is in actually posting and yet not reading the NEWBIES sticky thread just above your thread, top of this forum

tells you everything you need to know , including how to appeal and why you should appeal , plus a flow chart too

nobody is "bang to rights" ,even if you were the punishment doesnt fit the "crime" , does it ? lol

now read the newbies thread, please

Ignoring has not been a viable option for a long time now.

Please stop reading old/outdated posts and concentrate on reading the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum - the current situation and your options for seeing them off are fully outlined there.

Post-up your challenge/appeal for further help once you have it together.

You've obviously missed the posts about appealing then? Did you read post from 2014 ? Try the sticky thread by coupon mad first then come back here for further questions. Tell us though are you the registered keeper? Is this England or Wales ? And which parking company it is?

Just to check that name CPP, is this CP Plus? What email address to they give in the small print? Or actual address?

If this is CP Plus you need to get some photos of their signage (include any at entrance - if none there, photo the entrance without). Their signs often attempt to dress things up as contractual charges, so need to be handled a bit more carefully at POPLA.

This won't affect your initial appeal to CP Plus as per the NEWBIES sticky.

But please upload photos here, as a newbie you won't be able to do it fully, so host photos on (free to use) Photobucket or Tinypic and post a 'broken' link (remove the http bit) and a regular will repair and repost.

That's fine, wait for the NTK which may be some random letter months later. Whatever it is, that will be your cue to send the template appeal from the newbies thread. Later on you will then win at POPLA by adapting a POPLA appeal shown in 'How to win at POPLA' linked in post #3 of the same thread. Have a look now to see the sort of wording which wins a windscreen ticket case like this one. It really is as easy as copying a couple of template appeals and adapting the stage 2 POPLA one to suit.
