I am just so stupid, stupid, stupid.

Hi

I feel like I am just so stupid, remember I was ment to fill in that IB50 form, I forgot all about it, I have just found it and it has to be posted before next week. I am not really sure if you can get an appointment with CAB straight away normally you have to wait ages.

I can't believe I am being so stupid:mad: :mad: :cry::cry::cry:

    you could try see the cab but they are busy, some cab's will let you wait and see if someone does not turn up
  • Hi why not try and ring the dwp and explain what's happened maybe they will give you some more time to get it filled in.

    You actually have a total of 6 weeks to return the IB50, you will get a reminder after about 4 weeks giving you about 2 weeks more to return it, so you have a couple more extra weeks than you thought.

    My husband was not sure he would be able to return his in time due to our Doctor being on holiday; he rang the DWP up and they gave him extra time.

    Good luck!

    Phone the CAB, and see if they can fit you in as priority.

    You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

    If you can't get a CAB appointment or a time extension, fill it in yourself. If you take your time and answer all the questions honestly and directly you should be as ok as if the CAB had helped you. Surely everyone doesn't get their claims forms filled in by other people? Good luck.

    Hi

    Many Thanks people for all of your replies, I managed to some how calm down and fill the form in. I suppose I will have to just wait and see.

    I didn't bother ringing the CAB office, as I think is was too short notice. If I get declined I will get in touch with CAB and appeal.

    Once again many thanks for your replies.

    Cheers
