SORN form...where can I get one, not online?
I want to SORN my car (actually I don't want to, but legally I have to, as I've had to transfer the insurance onto another car).
As I've done in the past, I went into the post office to pick up a form (V890) to fill in and post off.
They told me they don't have the forms any more, and they can only do a SORN if it's off the renewal notice. I don't have that as the tax only has a couple of months left.
PO suggested I either SORN online, or print the form off online and post it in.
Now that's not a huge problem for me as obviously I'm online, but what about the millions of people who aren't online?
It's a legal requirement, so surely the government haven't made the only way to do it online?
Or does anyone know where I can pick up a form?
(not at a DVLA office as the nearest is ~70 miles away, the local one has closed down).

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Form V14 - to cash the tax disc in - and there's a box on there to tick. Any post office will have one. Get it in the post before the weekend, and you'll get the September tax back.0

Thank you. Went back to the PO and got the form, turns out they do keep them.
Was just really surprised that they said the only way to do it was online.
Was about to get up on my soap box in defence of people who can't do these things online
