Hi
I am looking to put down some flooring on my garage - some tiling like this perhaps?? - http://www.paftektiles.co.uk/images/fp-garage.gif
However, there are so many options.....vinyls/rubber etc etc and the costs vary massively as well !!!
I do not know much about these things but those who may have bought any of these - can you point me in the right direction please?

I also looked at a new floor covering for the garage. Plastic tiles and also rubber ones. Price was too much , so then looked at a two stage paint job , spent quite a lot of money, and after only two years............ back to where I started
A garage environment is a tough place.0 -
Yeah I painted as well at my old place using the proper floor stuff and it was back to square one in 18 months or so0

I'm also looking for a flooring option for our garage/workshop come utility area. in the old house we painted the concrete floor but as mentioned elsewhere it's not a long term solution.
I recently came across 'mototiles' which have a few different products dependent on usage and budget. I plan to go with them when I have the money. Not affiliated in any way but it looks like a good option for my intended use.

What are you driving - a Challenger tank ?
I've used International floor paint in my last two places and it has lasted extremely well. After a couple of years I have had to touch up the area where the car wheels sit, but the rest of it has been absolutely fine.
I have to ask - what paint have you used ? oil based and water based concrete paints are not as durable as epoxy based paints - there are a lot of "bargain" priced paints around;
and secondly - if your concrete floor is oily/very dirty to start with you will have great difficulty in getting any paint to adhere.0 -
