    There is one front crank seal and one rear crank seal.

    If they are insisting there are two front cranks seals, it is time to tell them you are going to take it for a second opinion and wait for what they say.

    Thanks for that info. I often get lost with the jargon, they hit me with (which I'm sure they are aware of.)

    However, I've no doubt the guy on the phone said there was an inner and outer seal. I made a presumption that this, 'inner and outer seal' was on the front crank, as that is where the original problem lay.
