PDA & GPS Problems....HELP!!!!!

i have the micromaxx MM95563

Please help.......tried to download firm update and now has lost trhe setting and won't find the sats....

You will proberbly need to configure the software again, read what changes have been made with the firmware update they may have made changes to port settings or somthing.

open tom tom, to to configuration and gps config then select the correct gps receiver type and port it is connected to.

if it doesnt work on the first try try the next port ot change the port speed whatever it can be trial and error with gps receivers that are built in.

Spikey ...is this webpage relevant to your problem ?? Does you Pocket PC work ok otherwise??

If so try doing a hard reset (then go to program files on pocket pc and delete any tom tom remnants) and then re-install tom tom. Make sure your GPS receiver is ON i(go to start>settings in windows) and then load up tom tom. Go to user preferences and then show gps status. Select other cable NMEA device, baud rate 9600, and then select gps on navigator. You may have to wait upto 10 minutes for it to acquire a satellite as it is a cold start but just be patient. if you are still having problems post back what you did and what your device shows and i'll see if I can be of any further help
