Hi guys,
I've created a webpage and saved it as an HTML file and it all looks good. The thing is when I then FTP it to my webspace the image disappears
with just the outline of the image showing.
Surely when its showing up ok in the original html document it should still be there once that doc is FTPed? Any ideas?
thanks
ps - you can see the page here: http://www.assessdyslexia.com/

the link on the page shows
file:///C:%5CDOCUME%7E1%5Cowner%5CLOCALS%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsohtml1%5C01%5Cclip_image003.jpg
you need to edit it to just be file:///clip_image003.jpg (it is looking for the picture on your hard disk , that is the problem)
same for any of the pictures you upload, you need to edit the properties of the photo
did you do this with Word ??Ex forum ambassador

Not at all relevant but I like the Galileo quote at the end of the page."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

might be better to work on it in this free package

mmm still pretty lost. When I change the code as suggested in my html editor the image then disappears from the actual html page before I even upload it.
I have the image with the text box on my word doc, but don't even know if I can save the whole thing as a complete jpg image!?0 -

Its a clipart from word, but I don't know how to save it as a jpeg on its own so that it can be located on my hard drive
PS - I'm already using the NUV html free editor0 -
you need to edit the page as HTML
then search for the graphic you are trying to edit
I suspect you will need to source free clipartEx forum ambassador
