Locked the pin on my tsb card today, entered wrong pin 3 times in tesco basically i used my halifax pin with my tsb card. anyway phoned up tsb and they told me i can fix this myself at a cashpoint and just select card or pin services.
my questions are :- can i use "any" cashpoint? my local tsb has no cash point machine outside.
and if my card is locked how do i enter my pin in the machine when i 1st insert it? will my original pin be ok at this point?
cheers

I think any cashpoint with displaying the 'LINK' logo will allow you to unlock it. Just enter the original PIN and go to 'PIN services' or similar.0

worked a treat at cashpoint
thanks
did find out not all link cashpoints have the pin services option0 -
I think it's only the ATMs operated by banks that have this.0

As I put earlier, the garage's cash machine probably reads/uses the magnetic stripe rather than the chip.0 -

did not doubt you in the first place
however there was no way of knowing until i put the card in. Both machines looked quite similar externally. 0
