Hi, after reading numerous posts, I just don't understand how my "fraud" doesn't get more attention from the banks or police? I've reported to the ActionFraud site after my local police station wouldn't unlock their doors at 9.30 this morning (seriously!!) but I have the "fraudsters" passport details, bank details, mobile phone details and facebook info. Yes, these can be fake but surely if they are fake, then police action should be more evident and not after 28 days as ActionFraud are saying?

Because the fraud you have been subject to is one of many thousands that Action Fraud will have recorded and they don't have the resources to investigate them all. They may try to link multiple frauds and investigate the ones that affect a lot of people or are high value, but the chances are that a single victim will never get a result.
