Redundancy at the end of my Trust Deed
Options
Guys bit of a situation here with the timings of this.
I started my trust deed agreeing 42 payments 3 years and 3 months ago so I've got 3 payments left. I've just found out that I'm being made redundant at either the end of September or the end of November (I do have a say in which one it is)
I am obviously looking to keep my redundancy money so I'm looking for guidance to see that if I pay my final 3 months of payments on the 1st September and begin the signing off process, will I be able to keep any redundancy if it was paid to me at he end of September?

Do you have to provide Bank statements at all in relation to your trust deed ?
If not, what they don't know wont hurt them.
If you do, then can you get it paid into another account ?
I managed to "hide" 8 grand in redundancy money once.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Shameful behaviour - concealing assets from the AiB is a criminal offence.0 -
Not all redundancy money can be taken by the trustee in a Scottish bankruptcy, or in a Scottish protected trust deed - PTD.
In a PTD, the AiB will never be the trustee.
If you are made redundant before you are discharged from your PTD, or bankruptcy, then you must notify your trustee, as part of the redundancy payment may 'vest' with them.0
