1. The promoter of the “Inca Trail Trek” Competition (the “Draw”) is Hostelworld.com Limited (hereafter known as the "Promoter") of Charlemont Exchange, Charlemont Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
2. By entering the Draw, the “Entrant” agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and agrees that the decision of the Promoter is binding and final.
3. No purchase is necessary for entry into the Draw.
4. The Prizes are provided by the Promoter and the following partner (hereafter known as the "Organiser”): The NDL Group, Unit 12, Deane House Studios, Greenwood Place, London, NW5 1LB, England
5. By entering the Draw, the Entrant also agrees to be bound by The NDL Group’s terms and conditions, as per Clause 8 below.
6. The full details of the Prizes are as follows:
   1. There will be one (1) prize winner (the "Prize Winner") of the Inca Trail Trek (the "Prize"), which is to be provided by the Organiser.
   2. Each Entrant into the Draw must download the Promoter's iPad app and select the destination image shown on the app homepage from a list of twelve (12) options offered on the Hostelworld.com website, and enter their email address in the box provided.
   3. One (1) Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all correct entries to win an Inca Trail Trek for two people.
   4. The Prize is for up to two (2) people and includes flights (including taxes and surcharges), 10 night holiday in Peru including an Inca Trail Trek, transfers and travel insurance.
   5. The Prize is subject to availability, and is at the discretion of Promoter and Organiser, and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays (both in the Prize Winner’s own country and Peru).
   6. Flights must include a Saturday night stay. The departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the Prize Winner’s nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest.
   7. The Prize Winner may need a visa to travel to Peru which they should arrange with Peru's local Embassy, at their own expense. It is the Prize Winner’s own responsibility to comply with any of Peru's visa requirements. Approval is at the discretion of the Peru’s Embassy and the Promoter and Organiser cannot be held responsible for any visa applications being rejected.
   8. Inca trail trek is subject to availability at time of booking. Tours depart on selected dates throughout the year.
   9. Travel insurance, where included, is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. Age restrictions may apply. For non-EU residents, should NDL Group be unable to purchase travel insurance on the Prize Winner's behalf, the Prize Winner will be reimbursed fully for purchasing their own travel insurance.
   10. The Prize must be booked by the Prize Winner via The NDL Group by December 31, 2014, for travel by August 31, 2015.
   11. The Prize includes up to ten (10) nights’ accommodation. Six (6) nights in hotels, based on two (2) people sharing a private room with en-suite facilities on a room only basis, there will also be four (4) nights accommodation in full service camping sites.
   12. The Prize is not transferable - it is redeemable only by the Prize Winner who is notified in accordance with Clause 13 below, for travel by the Prize Winner and their nominated guest. The Prize may not be resold.
7. All Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and can only be claimed by the Prize Winner in accordance with Clause 13 below.
8. The Promoter does not own or run any of the Organiser’s services. In order to avail of the Prize referred to in Clauses 6.A(a), the Prize Winner will be required to agree to any relevant terms and conditions or contract required by the Organiser. The Prize Winner acknowledges that the Promoter will not be party to any such agreements with the Organiser and will not be liable to the Prize Winner in respect of the terms of those agreement(s) whether directly or indirectly.
9. Entrants must be aged 18 (eighteen) or over. Each Entrant is required to fully and correctly complete the entry form, including email address, and destination image as displayed on the Hostelworld.com iPad app homepage. In entering the Draw, the Entrant does so at his/her own risk and on his/her own initiative, and is responsible for complying with local laws, to the extent any local laws apply. Entry into the Draw may be unlawful under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction and if entry in the Draw is unlawful, the Entrant will breach these terms and conditions and will be immediately disqualified from the Draw.
10. The Draw is not open to employees or agents of the Promoter, Organiser or any affiliated companies or subsidiaries or any third parties involved in the Draw.
11. The Draw is open for participation from August 20, 2014 until September 17, 2014. The Draw for the Prize will be held on September 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM GMT.
12. All Winners of the Draw shall be chosen at random by the Promoter from all correct entries.
13. All Winners shall be notified via their submitted email address.
14. By entering the Competition each Entrant agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and nationality to be displayed as a winner on the Hostelworld.com website.
15. By entering the competition the Entrant agrees, in the event that they are a Winner, to participate in such promotional activity as is reasonably requested by the Promoter, such as providing the Promoter with content for the Hostelworld.com website, blog, e-newsletters, and social media channels for further marketing purposes following the competition.
16. By entering into the competition the Entrant agrees to subscription to Hostelworld.com e-newsletters.
17. All Winners shall be given five (5) calendar days from the date of notification to claim the Prize. In the event that a Winner fails to respond in writing via e-mail within that period, chooses not to accept the Prize, is ineligible for the Draw or fails to duly complete, execute and return any document required by the Promoter, he/she shall be immediately disqualified from the Draw and he/she shall forthwith relinquish any right or entitlement to the Prize. The Promoter shall then draw from all remaining eligible entries and an alternative “Entrant” shall be selected as winner of the relevant Prize (the "Alternative Winner").
18. The Alternative Winner shall be notified via his/her submitted email address. The Alternative Winner shall be given three (3) calendar days from the date of notification to claim the Prize. In the event that the Alternative Winner fails to respond in writing via e-mail within that period, chooses not to accept the Prize, is ineligible for the Draw or fails to duly complete, execute and return any document required by the Promoter, he/she shall be immediately disqualified from the Draw and he/she shall forthwith relinquish any right or entitlement to the Prize. The “Prize” shall then be returned to the inventory and the Draw shall be discontinued.
19. Only one entry per email address (last entry) will be accepted. The Promoter will not accept multiple entries using the same email address.
20. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the individual that submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorised account holder of the e-mail account.
21. Each Entrant releases and holds the Promoter and its employees, agents, sub-contractors and consultants harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Draw or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize, including without limitation, personal injury, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
22. The receipt by an Entrant of any Prize is conditional upon that Entrant executing all relevant releases and other documentation and providing such assistance as the Promoter may reasonably require.
23. The Promoter shall not be liable for any breach of its obligations hereunder resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to fires, strikes (of its own or other employees), insurrection or riots, embargoes, delays in transportation, requirements or regulations of any civil or military authority, computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or technical failure and the Promoter shall be entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw and these terms and conditions without liability.
24. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue this Draw or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability to Entrants.
25. These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the Entrant hereby agrees that for the benefit of the Promoter and without prejudice to the right of the Promoter to take proceedings before any other court of competent jurisdiction, that the courts of Ireland shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any suit, action or proceedings that might arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and for such purposes the Entrant irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of such courts.
