I have been offered a job on Friday to start on Monday, but my JSA appointment wason Thursday. My payment will be paid on Tuesday. If I were to cancel my claim before Tuesday would my payment, for the 2 weeks I was searching for jobs, come through anyway?

I cant answer your question but cancel the claim on monday if you can.0

To clarify. Are you saying you haven't had your initial interview at the Job Centre yet?0

As long as you have fulfilled the requirements of JSA you will be paid up until the day you sign off. You might be able to call on Friday to tell them you start Monday or you may need to ring on the Monday (I'm sure I remember ringing to sign off on a lunch break back in the day!)0

Yes you will (unless they've cocked up) get your payment as normal on Tuesday, when you sign off you'll get the additional three days up to Monday. Fill in your signing book and hand it in at the Jobcentre if you can, less chance of it going missing and also ring the Benefit Centre if you can to notify them.
Good luck with the job.
Just checking it is Monday as that's a bank holiday unless your in Scotland."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
Yes you will get paid (unless as someone else said they have cocked up), I would say sign off Tuesday, I have to do this myself as I have just got a job too0

Others have confirmed what you should get and what you need to do.
I just want to add my congratulations to both of you.0
