Which screen protector for Samsung Galaxy S3?

Hi, my 16 yr old has just spent his birthday money on a Samsung s3. I would really like him to have a screen protector and a case for the phone before he takes it out and about.
I've been to the shops today to look but I'm now very confused as they vary so much in price.
Could someone please recommend a screen protector and anything else that needs to be 'done' to the phone before he uses it.

many thanks

Thanks I was wondering about posting there but it all seemed to be about contracts and pricing.
I will give it a go.

Had mine 3 years with no screen protector. It's survived everything. Not a scratch or blemish anywhere on it....

3 years? It's only just over 2 years old. Most of the first contracts started in June 2012. Anyway treated well any phone will last but put into a pocket with keys and loose change any phone will get scratched somewhere so the owner of the phone needs to avoid doing that. No amount of screen protection will stop scratches on the case.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Sorry, I meant my phone for 3 years...It is actually the S2.
The glass is tough enough to stand most day to day stuff. I think screen protectors add little and look terrible in a very short time..
To be honest the sort of people who put their phones into the same pocket as keys and change, usually, don't care about the condition of the phone anyway.:)

  • These are slightly more expensive than the ones found in eBay and Amazon. I've used this company before and pretty pleased with their service. http://www.expertshielduk.com/phone/samsung.html
