Hi all
Just wanted to share a website I stumbled upon whilst looking for gifts for the boy who has everything! I went with the molecule R cocktail making kit. Not very OS, but helpful if you need some unusual inspiration.

(Please note I have nothing to do with this website- only adding this as I know self- publicising is a no no).

Hello everyone, I haven't been on here to post, for a while but have been keeping up with others. It seems to be moving very slowly, Is everyone too busy with planning, making and buying?
I have finally decided on the advent calenders I am making for dd and ds, bought fabric and will be cutting pattern today. Ready to sew sometime this week, probably when Bf is working nights.
Also making coin purses and hot water bottle covers for dd and ds, owl door stop for Best Friend. Then if I have time, hopefully, table runner and napkin for Christmas table. Card making is also very close on the horizon, probably starting tomorrow. I have 17 already which I may write and address so I can work out how many more are needed.
Hope everyone is well, Sarah xGC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07

I made my Christmas cake a week ago and will add some alcoholic feed to it next weekend just to give it a bit more kick (although it was already smelling quite high in alcohol when I made it) :rotfl: I ordered a mini pie maker from Lake!ands on Friday as we make lots of little pies but I hate having to put the oven on for them so hoping it will work as well as I want it too and I managed to get if half price too!
DD1's owl door stop has been completed, DD 1's BF's advent calendar has been made and I have also finished his Christmas stocking, poor man is 23 and has never had either beforeMy girls are looking forward to getting the advent calendars out that I made them in 1997 and their Christmas stockings, also made the same year, even though they are 19 & 17 :rotfl:
Most of my shopping is now done with just the main gifts for each to get (DD17 wants a Polaroid style camera and DD19 would like some converse shoes), no idea what DH would like :eek:0 -
I'm just brining some onions for my pickled onions (thanks to Kevie for the recipe).
But I'm wondering if they will be ready for Christmas, or whether I have left it too late? Is (just over) 5 weeks long enough to be pickled in time for Christmas?Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

I'd be getting her f//k all and telling her exactly why when she asks why.
Well, a ceramic hen is on my wishlist too! I'd be delighted to know a friend had gone to the trouble of getting something I'd said I'd like.Keep reading books!

I thought I was nice and organised, but I've still got a few things to get and not much time spare for shopping - especially in the Christmas rush!
I did pick up the Boots Ted Baker box offer online though, and also went through Quidco to buy it. I had it delivered to the store. I like this very much. I'd love to just hop from shop to shop, taking in the commercial Christmas atmosphere without any of the manic searching or stress, picking up my pre-orders as I went. I like to hope that this way, I'd be contributing to the survival of the high street, too.Keep reading books!

We've been saving our pub quiz winnings again this year and our first win was 7th of January, up to £50 so far which if we win more will pay for all the christmas food, never too early for christmas!0
