Unfortunately I chose to use Ray Harris of Harrisonskitchens Waltham Abbey Essex to plan and install my new kitchen.
The kitchen was initially installed to an appalling standard.
I was left with 5 minor plumbing leaks, so much filler between a plinth and a skirting board that the filler fell out, plinths just jammed under base units with no fitting clips, a tall cupboard not closing as it caught on the worktop end and now the worktop has had a notch cut out to enable the door to be closed, very poor plastering after the wall tiles had been removed, raw and unfinished ends on the upstands and hob splashback, small nails jammed behind a door hinge to keep it closed, a window sill made from 2 different sizes of upstand and approx 3/4 inch wide strip of clear sealant to finish the window sill, missing sink support clips and the list goes on and on.
Ray Harris and his fitter did come back the next day to sort out the plumbing leaks.
But when I asked about the finish of the rest of the kitchen Ray said he was amazed that I could find anything to complain about.
I then contacted the kitchen manufacturer to complain about their recommended
fitters and they have applied some pressure to harrisonskitchens to correct the poor installation, which they have now done.
Might just use BQ next time.
