facebook users - can you please help

If you use facebook, could you please do me a favour and click on the magnifying glass icon (this is at the top right hand corner). When you click on it? It should bring up a list of people you have searched for. Can you let me know if the list is correct (ie, names of people only appear on there if you have actually searched for them)

on my phone, the search box has a list under it of the names i've looked for recently.

when I press the magnifying glass nothing comes up, but maybe iv not searched for anybody recently! this is on my iphone.

this is a loaded question isn't it? could the answer cause arguments with your other half maybe?...

It's people I've actually typed in to find, not on my Facebook if that helps?

So if there's nothing there, if you type in Joe blogs and select one, thenext time you hit that button Joe blogs will come up .

I used to teach for ceop so if you are having any problems let me know and I'll try and point you in the right direction .

It does this on mine and drive me mad, even if I put the first letter in it brings up everyone with that letter.

is there some way of stopping this happening

Oh and it has brought up people I have not searched for also

I've absolutely searched for people (one this morning) but nothing comes up when I click, it just says "enter a query".

Yes it brings up a list of people ive recently searched for. It doesn't bring up anyone else and they are all in the order I searched for them.
