Home Premium has a few more bits than just Aero. Best of all is the Windows Media Center which, when coupled with a freeview digital TV card, turns your PC into a media center complete with remote control, live pause/rewind, 7 day EPG plus scheduled recording and series link etc.

    Well worth it.

Useless on Dell? Where did you hear that from? My neighbour has a Dell laptop with integrated graphics & Premium/Aero works fine.

You can spend the extra £24 on something else? This is true - personally, I'd go for another 1Gb RAM instead - if the system only came with 1Gb for example. G
