Weather in Italy September?

Hi all
Going to Lido de Jesolo in mid-September (got plenty of info on the resort so not looking for that).
Has anyone been to this area (close to Venice) or other parts of Italy in this month to give an idea on the weather?
Hoping and praying for some sunshine but mainly asking so I know what kind of clothes to pack. Temperature and weather websites don't give much away

an average would be 20 degrees or so, but the best thing to do is wait til just before you leave and then check a forecast. Thats the only way of knowing.0

Friends visiting me in London this week said that Italy has had a disappointing summer so far. They live in Bologna and are hoping for an Indian summer in September. I hope so too as I will be there for a week myself.0

September, should be fairly good. Evening temps can go down a bit, as the nights draw in, so a jumper or two is adviseable. I live further south and the weather is not too bad in Sept, as you can still sit outside on many evenings.
A good site to monitor the weather prior to going is this one, but go by the 3 day forecasts, as they are usually the more accurate.

We went to lake Garda 4 years ago and had great weather and spent every evening by the lake with a cold beer, magic0

Thanks everyone
I have added the destination to my weather app on iPod so hopefully should get a good indication the week before we go. It has got to better than UK weather this month
Very excited :j0 -
If you go to holiday weather you can see all the monthly averages0

I've been to Venice in June, July and August and it has rained at least one or two days each time! However you should have good weather for most if not all of the time, and it's a wonderful place to visit so even a bit of rain won't spoil it!0

Weather at the moment here is pretty changeable, but it hopefully will get better. Rained on and off for the last few days here, but fingers crossed for you that it will be better next month. As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
