I went on to the myvesta website recently when I was looking at different options and it was apparent that they were more interested in making money then actually helping people. As soon as I viewed the website a pop with an adviser trying to talk to me and basically agree to an IVA was on the screen. For this reason I believe they are out to make money only and would advise you talk to a different organisation. Hope this helps!
Yes. While many organisation do/can give impartial advice, the only sure way to get advice that is in your interest (and not of those giving the advice) is to go to one of the advice agencies that are solely funded by either a charity or directly by government.
The main three are:- [SIZE=-1]CAB

- [SIZE=-1]National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000

Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
IVA & fee charging DMP companies: Profits from misery, motivated ONLY by greed0 - [SIZE=-1]CAB

The question the judge always asks is "Have you had professional advice?" and if you respond "Yes, from the National Debt Helpline/whoever you used" then there's never usually an issue.0
