Hello all,
Just received my POPLA decision; following my appeal against APCOA's parking invoice. I'm pleased to say the appeal was allowed on GPEOL!!!! :T.
After the long wait, I'm happy to see the final score on this as:
ME (1) - APCOA (0).:j. Good excuse to head down the pub tonight.
Huge thanks to Coupon-mad and the others for the kind help they offered when I needed it most. Really appreciated.
Just in case, you can find my initial post here and the evidence pack one here.
Below is the actual decision with personal info redacted.
The Operator issued parking charge notice number XXXXXXXX arising out of the presence at Birmingham International Airport,
on 3 June 2014, of a vehicle with registration mark XXXXXXXX.
The Appellant appealed against liability for the parking charge. The Assessor has considered the evidence of both parties and has
determined that the appeal be allowed.
The Assessor’s reasons are as set out.
The Operator should now cancel the parking charge notice forthwith.
I will be posting the full decision and assessor's name in the POPLA decision thread.
Once again, thanks so much everyone!!!
