The shortcuts on your desktop? If so then you can always access the programs from the start menu. Personally I keep my desktop clear (the only thing on there is the recycle bin)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

delete the shortcut and recreate them from the folders - thats not hard to do just: Go to the application, right clict -> send to -> desktop as shortcut. You can also copy them into the start menu if required.Faith is believing what you know ain't so...0

They are not working from the start menu either. So for example I get the message``The item``aol . exe``that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved,so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?``0

Can't remember if this was asked yesterday but which registry cleaner did you use? I use ccleaner which always promts to save a copy of the registry which I always do. If things are so messed up you may be better off long term reinstalling windows from scratch and then all your apps."She is quite the oddball. Used to use that, I'm sure you could save your registry with that. If no other suggestions work then I suggest trying to do a windows repair first (keeps apps, files, settings), make sure you've got backups of everything you need. Failing a repair then fresh install is probably your best bet."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
