Car Experts? Advice needed.

Morning all, my regulator has gone in the driver side window of my Renault, Megane Coupe '02.

As it's cheaper to get the part myself, could anyone confirm if this is the part I need please?

Thanks.

Are you sure its that part and not the electrical controller issue that plagues most of the renault range?

You maybe better off getting a complete 2nd hand unit from a breakers.

Could be motor or regulator or connection or electrical as mentioned.

No point swapping regulator if that isnt the issue but at least at that price you won't be wasting a lot of money. Might be worth getting door card off to have a look.

i think the best way to changing the part is by service center. they provide you the best service and also with Guarantee of part that you wants to exchange.

Are you going to actually post anything useful on any threads you comment on or are you just going to continue to build your post count so you can spam the forum at a later date?

I've asked the same question, and reported the posts, but nothing doing from MSE.

Certainly looks the part. BUT it could be the motor. As another suggested get the door card off (carefully) and then press the switch to see what happens. There should be movement. If there is none it could be the switch itself. All of these are easy to source/ replace on a Renault and can be done by a novice DIY'er with basic tools.. I have!
