Just out of curiosity why do some people have so many eBay accounts - 4 or more accounts ?
I know Business and Personal account
But is there any particular reason for it to have 4 or more accounts?

Different businesses, buying for business, buying for personal, selling for personal.0

I've got two business selling accounts with two shops. They are essentially incompatible businesses and easier to keep separate. One is more wholesale, the other retail.
I then have a buying account for business supplies. Then a personal account. I think I have a couple of others, one for a business idea that never took off and one that I very rarely buy on. So I've probably got two too many but no one charges for them. I've also got a separate Ebay.com account but I haven't used that for a couple of years.
I've got six Twitter accounts and about 20 email addresses too. And several websites. I'm very fickle..0 -
we have many....I have a business account and my partner has a business account and a personel each.
Then we have what I like to call reserve clean accounts.(or used to be). these 2 accounts are under a separate business bank account name at a different address. They were at one time never logged on or used from the same pc/internet provider.
We also have a small selection of random accounts (maybe 4 or so)with approx. 4000+ ratings. These were reserve accounts from when we did not like accounts with high ratings. We used to find powerseller accounts attracted nutters. now we just stick with our main shooter account.
Last we have a buying account...all purchases go via that account.....0 -
Even private users would be wise to have at least a seperate buying/selling account

Iv got a buying one
two selling accounts (both now closing because of recent ebay/pp changes
) - just in case I got a strange buyer/seller
and a posting ID - for the "friendly" ebay forums.0 -

Actually I am not- I am intrigued though by another Soolin! I have completely different user names across all my internet sites, I don't even choose user names from the same fandom, I am a little bit paranoid
I have an account with about 3 feedback I used to very occasionally use on the boards - but I doubt I've used it now for about 5 years and will almost certainly have 'lost' it in the password fiasco as I never bothered to change the password on it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Three private accounts..
One for buying most items. One for selling most items. One that I use via localbargainfinder to get local items at less than a fiver0 -
Ones banned, they're all banned, can't see the point myself.0
