I have just been emailed by Nationwide, where I have a current account, who have a £75 discount promotion for Thomas Cook Holidays.

Details below together with the discount code.

Hope someone can benefit from it!

1. Use the promotional code NWVC75 when booking to get £75 off selected winter 2014/2015 Thomas Cook package holidays. Booking must be made before midnight on 01 September 2014.

2. To qualify, the holiday must be for a minimum value of £1,200 per booking, must depart between 01 November 2014 - 30 April 2015, must be for a duration of 7-28 nights for a minimum of 2 adults, and must be booked via the "Holidays" tab on the Thomascook.com website or by telephoning the Thomas Cook contact centre on 0844 879 8515.

3. Saving is per booking. Qualifying holiday must be a package holiday operated under the Thomas Cook and Airtours brand names only.

4. Offer does not apply to Flexibletrips (FDP) or Thomas Cook Signature branded holidays.

5. Promotional code cannot be applied retrospectively.

6. In the event of any difficulty applying the promotional code NWVC75, please call 0844 879 8515 for assistance. Calls to 0844 numbers shown cost 6p per minute plus network extras.

7. Offer can be withdrawn without notice.

Presumably this only works for people who have Nationwide accounts? I suspect the debit card which has to be used will identify whether you qualify or not.

http://www.thomascook.com/promotional-terms-conditions gives all the current discount codes - up to £100 depending on the cost of the holiday.
