bough a carpet for stairway from scs and they arranged fitting
many thanks
- firstly arranger fitting day did not happen as agreed- will submit complain to SCS
- secondly the carpet fitter did not put underlay on the back of each stair- - I believe he should have. or I'm I wrong? as i paid for the same sq meters of underlay as carpet
- thirdly fitter did not 'glue' or what is another way securing carpet to the back of each step- which I believe he should have, or I'm I wrong again?
- I have emailed fitter and he replier he done everything according to British standart.
many thanks

The carpet fitter has done his job correctly. There is no need for underlay or to fix the carpet to the risers.0

I agree, underlay on the treads only. They have conned you into buying more than required.0
