Simply wrong. My parents had no internet/phone for about 2 month when trying to move ISPs. Both have "smartphones" but are useless without wifi because 3g coverage is non existant without traveling 18 miles to get an almost "useable" signal or library with internet access./QUOTE]
apologies for any misunderstanding, the point I was trying to make is that if you need internet the vast majority of the UK know someone else who's desktop/ lappie /landline/widget/dongle/whatever... they can use if they really need/want to...0 -
Did I ever tell you about the guy who bought a single rose vase and stand off me a week before valentines day, and wanted to return it two days after valentines day?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. My buyer wanted to return because they bought the wrong item.
It took me about 3 months to sell it, and even that was reduced. I shall take the negative any day over accepting that item back..!0 -

true enough, but if I was the "someone" they asked if they could log into ebay/paypal using my wifi, I would have to say no
ebay/paypal methods of "linking" accounts is quite obscure/aggressive and there is no way I would risk allowing anyone else to login to either site using my connection, because I do not want to be incorrectly linked and/or banned if there is every an issue with thier account0 -
Decided to offer a refund but on 3 terms
1) They pay postage for return
2) They pay the ebay fees as cannot get them back (10%)
3) I will only refund what they are selling for now.
So the item sold for £12 and will be refunding £8 back to them.
And they also blocked now.0
