Im off to turkey tomorrow and was going to opt into eurotraveller.
Do i need to still turn off my data roaming or does this need to be on in order to use the internet?
Sadly no free wifi where im goinv.

It needs to be on. Do you have an ample data bundle(UK) that is enough to last throughout your visit? If not, beware.

I would only turn it on when you want to use the internet, that way you'd avoid apps on the phone using it whenever they want to. And turn off automatic updates, it's unlikely that any app would need to get the latest version while you're on holiday.
