I have received a cheque in settlement of my claim so CPP have admitted liability but it only covers back to 2005. However the mis-selling went back to 1992. Do I have to make a separate claim to the Bank/CC Company for the earlier item even though they have already admitted guilt?
Also the payment is only for premium paid plus some interest on that amount. Should I be able to recover id addition:
-Compensation for the stress and anguished caused by the mis selling
- Postage involved making my claim
- my time in making my claim
I would appreciate some advice on these items as at present CPP are just telling me to go whistle

Admitting "guilt" would imply a crime has been committed. They have admitted nothing-they have simply refunded your premiums with interest.Do I have to make a separate claim to the Bank/CC Company for the earlier item even though they have already admitted guilt?
Pre-2005, you have to complain to the Bank just as you already appear to know. However, read here;
