With a standing charge of £250 you'll have to be eating well above average for it to be cheapest.0

Going to be a very special type of person that thinks "my energy supplier is so good I must post a review of them on trustpilot".....0 -
The current line up of Scottish Power tariffs do not appear to have an exit penalty, including the predecessor September 2015 Fix. So if you are on a tariff with penalties, it could make sense to switch even if it's not cheaper.0

I am also with Scottish Power.
Using www.Energyhelpline.com I get the same answer for the cheapest tariff(i.e. Online Fixed Price Energy October 2015) regardless of using BG or my present SP tariff in the comparison website. It is about 2.5% cheaper.0 -
True obviously complaints are always going to be shown more. That doesnt mean to say complaints are not genuine though. Maybe you could try them and let us all know yoiur experince if you aren't with them already. Or you could read the countless complaints on MSE of the lack of any customer services.Going to be a very special type of person that thinks "my energy supplier is so good I must post a review of them on trustpilot".....0

My SP tariff ends on the last day of this month. SP online fixed October 2015 comes in at £714 for my usage .
Eon Fixed 1 year V7 for electric only is £289 and Zog Mercury 12 for Gas only is £328 so £617 in total.
By going to Eon for electric I can still get my Warm Home Discount and save £97 + £15 cashback . Signed up for both .0
