Hi I hope someone can help im one payment away from my iva ending, what happens after the last payment,what processes do they go through to complete the IVA, and can they access my credit file

Hello there,
Once the IVA has completed you should receive notification from your Insolvency Practitioner. This is generally called a completion certificate. Your IP would only be able to search your credit file if you've given them permission to do so - although I'm not sure why they would need to. Is there a reason why you ask?

thanks david for the reply,there is no reason just unsure of what happens with my credit file now Im nearly close to finishing iva ,and the time scale it may take to be completed0

Hello again.
The IVA should fall off your credit file six years after the date it started.
