I booked a caravan holiday and just 48 hours later the same holiday had been reduced by 50% !! Is there any way I can get my money back as I feel a bit cheated by this company :(

what would you have done if it had gone up 50%?......pay more
same as all holidays price goes up ....price goes down
  • If I had booked it a few months before then fair enough but not 48 hours before !!

But you never know when a company is going to have a sale.

You might buy something from Argos and as soon as you've collected it, it may be advertised 50% cheaper. Some companies have a policy that they'll refund the difference if the price drops within a certain time of booking/purchasing. However, I doubt very much that a caravan site would have a policy like that.

You do not have any generic consumer rights to your money back.

As gardner1 says, you need to check the T&Cs and see what it says about cancelling.

Did you pay a deposit? Or did you pay in full?
Depending what the T&Cs state, it may be cheaper to cancel your original booking and rebook at the cheaper price.
